  • Monitoring of National Aquatic Resources (MINARS)

    • CPCB has sponsored the MINARS program network at various districts through State Pollution Control Board. The Objective of MINARS is to standardized measurement of identified parameters in order to define status and trends of Water quality. It is a systematic planning for collection preservation and transportation, storage, analysis of water samples and dissemination of data for National Water body restricted to surface and ground water in the country. Regular monitoring of water quality is being carried out and data are being forwarded to CPCB. Monitoring is carried out in 58 stations.
